Meditation In Everyday Life

Chris Prenovitz will be leading Meditation In Everyday Life, a retreat set at Standing Stone Healing and Arts. The retreat will happen for four Fridays starting July 29 until the 26th (with the exception of August 5).

The class will help its participants to learn ways on how to relax the mind and body and integrate mindful practices into one's life. Mindfulness is being present to what is happening with wise, non-judgmental attention. One's capacity to accept and allow the conditions of life expands and extends into all areas of life as one relaxes and skillfully observes what is happening. Although there are many practical benefits of meditation at its core, meditation can transform how one can see and relate to life itself. The class is appropriate for new and experienced students.

Chris Prenovitz is a dharma leader with Seattle Insight Meditation & a stress management consultant. A stress management and behavior-change coach, she teaches a unique blend of yoga-based stress management and mindfulness practices that empower people to connect with their inner wisdom to support new skills and lasting change.
