Can't resist some churchless thanksgiving's

OK, you give up.

I've tried my most appropriate to resist the assault of thankiness here in the United States. Today is Thanksgiving, the inhabitant holiday. It has something to do with being thankful (obviously), but even Wikipedia can't insist the origins of what mostly is called Turkey Day.

For my wife as well as me, it's Wheat Gluten Day, as we're about to put the meatless Celebration Roast in the oven. We don't applaud Thanksgiving in the traditional fashion. However, there's zero wrong with gripping "thanks" partial of the day.

So, that's what I'll do: contend thanks to those who revisit this blog as well as leave comments upon the posts.

The Church of the Churchless gets about 700-800 page views the day, with about 350-400 unique visitors. That equates to the lot to me. I'm grateful to be means to promulgate in the little fashion with which most people -- even if the little simply take the glance, consider "not for me" as well as conduct off to another thread of the vast worldwide web.

I've been blogging away here for the bit over 6 years. Sometimes it seems similar to there's zero some-more to say, nonetheless at your convenience you sit down at my laptop to compose the post, you find which there is.

Because you keep changing, learning, exploring, wondering, questioning, spurred upon in the little fashion by every criticism or email which comes my way.

Whether you agree, disagree, or am neutral about what someone else says, his or her ideas walk their approach in to my psyche, adding to the sea of report which my brain churns away upon -- largely outward of my awareness.

Eventually uninformed ideas as well as intuitions burble up to the surface.

So you never (well, frequency ever) get sleepy of writing stuff for this blog. you can't unequivocally tell in what citation my philosophical as well as meaning-of-life inclinations are heading. What matters to me is the feeling of ! movement , the sensation which I'm not station still.

Whether someone else calls this swell or backsliding doesn't make the difference to me, just as either anyone applauds or denigrates your own approach of living hold up shouldn't make the difference to you -- so prolonged as you're satisfied with your choices as well as aren't intentionally spiteful others in the process.

Often you use the Google search apparatus in the right sidebar to find the post which I'd written years ago. Reading by it, I'll continue upon in to the comments as well as find which the little people who are commenting upon this blog now were Church of the Churchless visitors approach back when.

"Cool," I'll think.

It's rare which the criticism is left upon this blog from someone you know personally. More precisely, physically. Because you do feel which you know most commenters personally. We've just never met face to face, usually thoughts to mind.

Over the years you can clarity changes in these people, whom you consider of as friends in the very real cyberspace way. Like me, they're upon their own journey, seeking for uninformed meanings as well as improved ways of relating to the world.

As with my alternative friends, you may remonstrate with them upon this or which particular subject.

What's most some-more critical is the common ground you stand on: the joining to non-dogmatic truth-seeking, spiritual independence, as well as apply oneself for the mystery which stays when the light of tellurian knowledge is laid opposite the most incomparable dark of being beyond our understanding.

Every day you sense something by this blog. Thank you, Church of the Churchless visitors, for creation which possible.
