The Buddhas of the Four DirectionsThrough bestowing blessings, have consecrated it:Akshobhya in the eastern direction,Ratnaketu in the southern direction,Amitabha in the western direction,And Dundubhisvara in the northern direction.
In order to extinguish all misdeeds,There is this high auspicious discourseThat exhausts all disastrous karma,Bestows all happiness,Eradicates all suffering,Is the substructure of the state of omniscience,And is well-adorned by all resplendence.Granting blessings, this we shall proclaim.
Sentient beings whose senses have been defective,Whose life-spans have been burdensome or have been degenerating,Who have been but contentment as good as what they desire,Whom the gods have turned against,Who have been hated by their loved ones,Who have been involved by heavenly influences as good as the like,Who have been not agreeable with one another,Who have been cheerless by the decrease in element wealth,Who have been stricken by pique as good as misery,Who have been in fear, or in poverty,Who have inauspicious heavenly as good as constellational influences or curses,Who have been threatened by intolerable disastrous spirits,Or who see bad dreamsFollowing pique as good as fatigue,Should bathe well, render themselves cleanAnd attend to this high Sutra.
Should those with virtuous vigilant as good as pure mindAdorn themselves good in purify garments,And attend to this Sutra -The profound experiential domain of the Buddhas -Then through the awe-inspiring energy of this sutra,The afflictions of all vital creatures,The likes of which have been intensely unbearable,Will be perpetually pacified.
They will be offering protectionBy none other than the Guardians of the Universe themselves,Together with their ministers as good as absolute lords of assembly;By myriads of billions of yakshas,By the Great Goddess Sarasvati,By the Goddess Who Dwells in the Nairanjana [River],By Hariti, Mother of Bhutas,By the Earth Goddess Dridha,By t! he Brahm a Kings as good as by God Kings,By the incredibly absolute Kings of Nagas,By Kings of Kinnaras as good as Kings of Demi-Gods,And further by the Kings of Garudas.
They, with their clans as good as might, will arrive,Together with their mounts,And but distraction day as good as nightWill offer insurance to those beings.
I will entirely teach this Sutra on the profound,The Buddhas dimension of experience,The secret of all Buddhas,Difficult to find in billions of eons.
Those who attend to this sutra,Those who cause others to attend to it,Those who rejoice in it,And those who have offerings to it,Will have offerings made to them for billions of eonsBy gods as good as nagas,Humans as good as kinnaras,Demi-gods as good as yakshas.
For beings whose consequence has declined,The store of their meritWill grow to become limitless, as good as likewise, over measureAnd inconceivable.
Intensely shall they be cared forBy the Buddhas of the 10 directions,And additionally by the BodhisattvasEngaged in the profound.
Clad good in purify garments,Wearing pleasantly-scented clothes,Settling firmly in the thoughts of love,Without distraction, one should have offerings.
Render the thoughts spotless,Put forth effort to have it expansive,And have the thoughts intensely clear:Then attend to this high Sutra.
Those who attend to this Sutra,Will be eminent among humans,Will attain good the human existence,And will live the hold up of fortune.
