Activities for the Prayer House First Anniversary

Honorable Mayor Delores Martin of Manvel city will commemorate the first anniversary of Houston Namadwaar, a prayer house powered by the Divine Names, on March 19, 2011. The prayer house is located at 3642 Bailey Ave, Manvel, TX 77578. A food and clothes drive benefiting the local Pearland/Manvel community will be held as part of the event between 10 AM and 12 Noon on the 19th. In the afternoon, commemorative tree plantings followed by a special anniversary celebration will be held in the presence of the Mayor. Several cultural performances will be on display from 3 PM onwards including a fascinating musical concert on universal peace and unity, an exotic string puppet show by The Dancing Peacock Puppet Company, a classical Indian dance performance and a drama presentation by children. Indian lunch and dinner will also be served. The event is free and open to the public.
